Experience and Journey
In mapping our journey from our house to the college, we initially started with understanding our daily experiences throughout the journey via the encounters and the emotions they evoked in us. To study the encounters in detail, we went there and drew live sketches. To take this further we made models that show, what we experience along the journey and give the sense of the spaces we encounter.
In this process we learnt about how the environment affects our personal experience and how unknowingly it evokes emotions within us. How small details we observe while travelling become a part of our journey even if they have no direct contact with us. We understood our relationship with the spaces we encounter along the way to college.
These models evoke sense of the space I encounter along my journey from my house to the college, the cluster, the void of correlation between things happening simultaneously. I made these models by collecting objects that highlight my encounters along the journey.
