The intent of this module was to test materials like glass fiber and resin under gravity and with folds using the techniques of origami to make new forms.
In this course we (re)imagined a mangrove swamp. We tried to understand the environment as a set of networks between humans and non human, social, cultural, political flows. And explore the design possibilities that negotiate these relationships.
Syntax helped us to put together form and space. We designed petit infrastructures in which the form comes together and produces a meaning with respect to the human experience.
The course intends to think through the different ways of seeing, It helped us discover our unique eye to see a city, people, and nature. Develop empathy and understanding of the spaces and urban commons that we share.
