 Form and Pattern

We started with studying the form of hand and how it is emerged from the process of drawing. We explored a variety of mediums such as charcoal, ink, water colors, poster colors and color pencils to study the tonalities of light and the bulges and in the hand. In order to understand the structural complexity of the form, I chose wireframing as my process to understand it by making models.

I made four models using the process of wireframing to understand the the geometry and volume of the hand. This helped me in understanding the geometry of lines along the hand ,the bulges, the depressions and the volume of the hand. This helped me in understanding the specific relationships between the geometry, form and material.
