We studied the initially agrarian city - now perfume capital of India, Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh. We studied the rich cultural mix of communities and their institutions involved. We learnt about the process of perfume/ ittar making.
This module helped us to understand that built form is generated through overlapping systems. These systems interact together to produce spatial experience along with resource and utilitarian efficiency. It enabled us to understand relationships between systems/materials and life.
